What it does

onboard is the fastest guided path to a valid project config. It explains the source-target model, prompts for the target tool, proposes a source folder, creates the config, offers to move unmanaged target skills into source, runs an initial sync, and can register the config for watch mode plus the background service.

Target presets

• Generic .agents
• Claude Code
• Codex
• Antigravity

The generic .agents target is the right default for OpenCode, Cursor agent workflows, Codex CLI, aider, goose, and other tools that consume ~/.agents/skills.
